During equipment commissioning, the heat transfer oil pipeline heated up slowly and the surface temperature was uneven. Investigation revealed insufficient contact area between the heater sheath and the oil. The HRY22 sheathed electric heater uses a metal sheath structure to isolate the heating element from the medium, making it suitable for heating liquids such as heat transfer oil and lubricating oil.
Immersion bare tube heaters directly contact the medium, are prone to coking and corrosion, and require frequent maintenance. The HRY22 sheathed design keeps the heating element from directly contacting the oil, reducing carbon buildup and extending service life. The sheath material can be carbon steel or stainless steel to suit different oils.
Common rated voltages are 220V and 380V, and designs from 12-440V can also be provided according to site conditions. Wiring methods include star and delta connections, which must match the power supply and power requirements. Single-unit power ranges from 0.5-10kW, and multiple units can be combined to meet the heating needs of large storage tanks.
Widely used in heat transfer oil furnaces, storage tanks, and pipeline heat tracing systems in industrial sectors such as petroleum, chemicals, shipping, washing, chemical fiber, and machinery manufacturing.
