When reviewing the technical agreement for an electric heating plate, procurement personnel often overlook the temperature control method, confusing on-off temperature control with PID closed-loop control. The HDW-780 industrial electric heating plate adopts PID closed-loop control and is equipped with a Pt100 platinum resistance sensor, which can keep temperature fluctuations within a small range and reduce plate surface temperature differences caused by frequent switching, making it suitable for heating processes with certain requirements for temperature stability.
Before shutdown maintenance, the rated voltage, rated power, and plate surface dimensions should be checked to confirm that spare parts match the equipment in use. The HDW-780 industrial electric heating plate offers rated voltages of 220V/380V, with power ranging from 1.5kW to 6kW. The plate surface material is cast aluminum or cast iron. Select according to the actual installation space and heating object during procurement to avoid slow heating or high surface load caused by power mismatch. The fastening status of wiring terminals should be checked regularly, and there should be no looseness or oxidation marks at the leads of heating elements.
Residue on the plate surface will affect heat transfer efficiency. After shutdown and cooling, wipe with a soft cloth and neutral detergent. Do not use sharp tools to scrape, so as not to damage the cast aluminum surface. It is recommended to compare the Pt100 sensor with a standard thermometer quarterly and replace it promptly when the deviation exceeds the allowable range to ensure accurate feedback of the temperature control loop. The heat dissipation air duct in the control cabinet should be kept unobstructed; dust accumulation will affect the service life of components.
Significantly prolonged heating time is mostly related to low supply voltage or local aging of heating elements, which can be judged by measuring loop resistance with a multimeter. If the temperature display fluctuates greatly, first check whether the sensor wiring is loose, then confirm whether the PID parameters have been mistakenly changed. Ordinary temperature-adjusting electric heating plates have a simple structure and low maintenance cost, and are suitable for general preheating and heat preservation. For occasions sensitive to temperature fluctuations, such as laboratory sample heating, precision machining preheating, and low-temperature preheating of new energy vehicle battery packs, closed-loop control models should be selected.
After arrival, check whether the nameplate parameters are consistent with the order contract, inspect the insulation resistance and grounding terminals, and conduct a power-on trial run to observe the heating curve and temperature control stability. The accompanying documents should include wiring diagrams and sensor graduation number descriptions to facilitate subsequent procurement of maintenance spare parts.
