When designing and selecting heating elements for ovens, laminating equipment, or pipeline heat tracing, designers often focus on total power and external dimensions, while surface temperature uniformity is frequently discovered only during the commissioning stage. Cast aluminum electric heating plates cast resistance wire within an aluminum plate body; heat conduction through the solid metal makes the plate surface temperature difference relatively controllable, making them suitable for flat heating scenarios that require temperature consistency. The JRQ-850 model is designed according to this approach: the plate body is formed by cast aluminum process, and the heating element is enclosed within the plate, reducing installation interference caused by exposed wiring.
This model's rated voltage is compatible with three-phase 380V or single-phase 220V power supply, and the power and plate surface dimensions can be matched to the equipment installation space. Conventional long-term operating temperature does not exceed 150°C; surface load should be selected in conjunction with heat dissipation conditions to avoid local overheating that accelerates insulation aging. Plate body thickness and mounting hole positions should correspond to the equipment base surface during selection, and the lead wire position can be adjusted according to the orientation of the junction box. Cast aluminum electric heating plates are commonly used for attachment to the outer walls of plastic machinery barrels, packaging sealing tables, laboratory heating plates, and bottom heating of small hot-pressing molds. During installation, the plate surface should remain in contact with the heated object, and thermal conductive silicone grease may be applied to improve contact thermal resistance; for stations requiring rapid temperature rise, it should be verified whether the plate surface load matches the response cycle of the temperature controller. When multiple plates are used in combination, the power deviation of each plate is recommended to be controlled within a reasonable range to avoid uneven current distribution in parallel circuits.
When shutting down the equipment, the power supply should be cut off first, and cleaning should be performed after the guard plate temperature drops below 80°C to avoid deformation of the plate body caused by rapid cooling. Do not use sharp tools to scrape the plate surface during cleaning to prevent damage to the surface oxide layer. After long-term shutdown, when re-energizing, it is advisable to first operate at a lower temperature for a period to remove moisture, then raise to the working temperature.
Before purchasing, it is recommended to lock in the maximum temperature required by the equipment, surface load, installation dimensions, and power supply parameters. If the heated object is a curved surface or requires frequent disassembly and assembly, the fixing method and lead wire protection scheme should be discussed with the supplier. Regarding the temperature control system, the correspondence between the sensor installation position and the plate surface temperature measurement point should be clarified in order to set the control parameters.
