The DJR-450 electric heating coil covers two industrial standard rated voltages, 220V and 380V, and supports non-standard customization. Its design is based on the relevant requirements of JB/T 2379-2016 "Metal Sheathed Heating Elements." The insulation resistance is no less than 20MΩ (normal condition), and the withstand voltage strength passes 1500V/50Hz for 1 minute without breakdown.
This model adopts a ceramic core or mica-wound wire structure, covered with a metal sheath. Before inquiry or ordering, technical personnel should clarify the three core dimensions: inner diameter, outer diameter, and width/height (in mm), and explain the installation space limitations and wiring method. Common inner diameter ranges from 30mm to 500mm, width from 10mm to 200mm, and non-standard sizes are machined according to drawings.
It is suitable for injection molding machine barrels, extruder barrels, blown film machine heating zones, chemical fiber equipment hot rollers, and hot runner systems. In plastic machinery, the electric heating coil fits closely against the metal barrel wall and brings the material to processing temperature through heat conduction; in packaging machinery, it is used to maintain constant temperature for sealing knives and heat-sealing rollers. During installation, it is necessary to ensure that the inner wall of the heating coil fits the surface of the heated body to avoid local overheating caused by air gaps.
Operating temperature is divided into two categories according to different insulation materials: the mica-wound wire type is suitable for 100–400°C, and the ceramic core type is suitable for 300–700°C. The surface load is recommended not to exceed 4W/cm² to extend element life. Daily maintenance should check whether the wiring terminals are loose and whether the insulation layer is carbonized, and keep the surface clean. If used for a long time in humid or corrosive environments, a protective cover must be added and the insulation resistance tested regularly.
