The GCH-150 shell and tube heat exchanger is designed according to the GB/T 151 standard, with a nominal heat transfer area of 150 m², a design pressure of 1.6 MPa, and a design temperature of 200°C. The tube side and shell side can be made of carbon steel or stainless steel in different combinations. The inlet and outlet pipe diameters of the medium are determined based on the system flow rate and allowable pressure drop. During selection, it is necessary to verify the matching of design pressure, design temperature, heat transfer area, and connection pipe diameters with the actual operating conditions.
Operation and maintenance personnel should regularly record pressure gauge and thermometer readings. If the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet rises by more than 0.05 MPa above the initial value, it usually indicates scaling or blockage on the heat transfer surface, and cleaning should be arranged. The cleaning cycle can be adjusted according to the cleanliness of the medium and operating data.
This type of heat exchanger is suitable for scenarios such as oil cooling, process water heating, and heat exchange of chemical media. The materials of the shell and tube bundle can be selected according to the corrosiveness of the medium. During installation, space should be reserved for pulling out the tube bundle.
