During design and selection, the chloride ion concentration in the medium is a parameter that needs to be checked first. When the chloride ion content exceeds approximately 200 mg/L, the pitting corrosion risk of 304 stainless steel increases significantly, while 316L, due to its molybdenum content, performs better in pitting corrosion resistance under the same operating conditions. If the chloride ion concentration in the medium remains persistently high, even if 316L is selected, it is recommended to conduct a specialized assessment combined with temperature and flow rate. Brazed stainless steel heat exchangers are suitable for heat exchange of clean media such as oil-water and water-water, and are not recommended for medium environments with high chloride ion concentrations. The BXS-60 has a single plate heat exchange area of 0.06 m², the number of channels can be combined as needed, the design pressure is 4.5 MPa, and the design temperature is -160°C to 200°C.
A practical problem brought by the compact structure is that maintenance space is easily compressed. It is recommended to reserve a clearance of no less than 300 mm on the interface side of the heat exchanger during installation, to facilitate observation of the interface sealing status and temperature measurement point readings. The BXS-60 has overall dimensions of approximately L×W×H 320×120×150 mm (subject to the actual product), weighs approximately 7.5 kg, and can be wall-mounted or bracket-mounted. If multiple units are connected in parallel, the spacing between adjacent equipment is recommended to be no less than 150 mm to avoid mutual interference.
In the oil cooling circuits of mechanical manufacturing and textile equipment, the BXS-60 brazed stainless steel heat exchanger reduces the system oil charge with its compact flow channels while maintaining stable oil temperature. For heating table applications in the food industry, surface cleanliness needs attention; the stainless steel surface is easy to wipe, but cleaning agents should avoid chlorine-containing formulas to prevent pitting corrosion. During selection, please calculate based on the actual medium composition, flow rate, and heat exchange load, and conduct sample testing when necessary.
