In oil cooling circuits, the problems of large oil charge and slow startup heating are often encountered. The brazed stainless steel heat exchanger reduces internal volume through a compact flow channel design, which helps to lower the oil charge.
Detachable plate heat exchangers rely on gaskets, and regular gasket replacement is one of the maintenance tasks. The BXS-110 uses a vacuum brazing process, forming a metallurgical bond between plates with no gasket structure, making it suitable for occasions with frequent temperature and pressure fluctuations. However, note that the brazed structure cannot be disassembled, and cleaning methods are mainly chemical cleaning or online circulation. The scaling tendency of the medium should be confirmed during selection.
Shell-and-tube heat exchangers have high pressure resistance and are resistant to blockage, but their heat transfer area per unit volume is smaller. The BXS-110 is smaller in volume for the same heat transfer capacity, making it suitable for equipment with limited space. Its plates are made of stainless steel, and in food industry heating table applications, the surface is easy to clean, but the cleaning agent selection should avoid formulas with high chloride ion content to prevent pitting corrosion.
It is recommended to install a Y-type strainer on the water side, and the oil side filter precision should not be less than 100 μm to prevent particles from depositing in the narrow flow channels. When signing technical agreements, procurement personnel can require the supplier to provide material certificates and brazing process descriptions to verify design parameters.
In oil cooling circuits of mechanical manufacturing and textile equipment, the compact flow channels can reduce oil charge; the food industry needs to pay attention to cleaning agent compatibility. The BXS-110 has a design pressure of 1.6 MPa and a design temperature of -20~200°C, suitable for liquid-liquid and oil-water heat exchange conditions.
