Sheathed electric heaters typically consist of electric heating alloy wires such as nickel-chromium alloy and iron-chromium-aluminum alloy
A sheathed electric heater is an industrial heating element that converts electrical energy into thermal energy and transfers heat to the medium through a metal sheath. It is widely used in petrochemical, machinery manufacturing, energy and power industries, mainly for heating oil, water, air, or corrosive liquids.
The most notable feature of this heater is the "sheathed structure" — that is, the heating core is wrapped inside a metal tube (sheath), which is not only safe and explosion-proof but also effectively prevents the heating medium (especially oil) from coking and carbonizing due to localized high temperatures.
