LCD Crawler Ceramic Heater
Various industrial equipment and large workpieces require local heat treatment before welding preheating and after welding stress relief, to improve workpiece quality and enhance regional toughness. Currently, in large workpieces or field sites, equipment maintenance often uses traditional, inefficient, and energy-intensive high-frequency heating, flame heating, or costly investment in super heating furnaces for heat treatment. Additionally, outdated methods are used for drying and high-temperature heating of metal containers, such as: ①Steam pipe heating and water/oil jacket indirect conduction heating (which cannot meet certain high-temperature heating requirements, and the containers are heavy, labor-intensive, and difficult to maintain). ②Destructive methods using electric heating rod insertion (some materials cannot contact the heating element, or damaged rods contaminate the material, and maintenance requires emptying the material first). ③Using electric furnace wire connected in series with ordinary porcelain tubes for external wrapping heating (the tubes contact the container linearly, resulting in small contact area, low thermal efficiency, and ordinary porcelain parts are fragile and unsafe).
●The crawler heater replaces these traditional outdated methods and is an ideal product for local heating, field heating, and external heating.
●Structure and用途 of the crawler heater:
It is made of high-temperature resistant multi-strand heating wire and high-strength, high-temperature resistant ceramic parts woven together according to special process requirements. It has arbitrary bending characteristics along its length and can be widely used for on-site heat treatment of various industrial equipment and workpieces, drying and heating of various metal containers and pipelines, and high-temperature external heating of various molds and dies.
●Features of the crawler heater:
1. It is flexible; for example, when heating containers or pipelines, it can be bent into an arc or circle to wrap around the surface for heating. For large workpieces, it can be wrapped locally or laid flat to cover large areas. Additionally, it can adapt to heating workpieces of various geometric shapes.
2. High working temperature, fast heating, high thermal efficiency, no pollution, uniform heating*, and can achieve automatic control.
3. High mechanical strength, good hot insulation performance, large contact area with the heated object, and long service life.
4. Easy installation and maintenance, low operating cost, and even if the internal heating material is damaged, the external ceramic components can be reused.

●Installation and usage instructions:
1. Depending on the size of the equipment or workpiece, single or multiple components can be evenly arranged. For fixation during installation, use stainless steel wire to tie or bend stainless steel strips into tightening rings, then fasten with screws.
2. For temperature requirements and energy saving, cover the heater with an insulating layer of 6-8 cm and a temperature controller.
3. Do not overlap heaters during use to avoid forming overheated areas that affect lifespan. Be careful not to break ceramic parts to prevent exposure of heating material, which may affect safety.
4. The workpiece being heated must be reliably grounded. The working voltage must not exceed 1.05 times the rated voltage.
The LCD type crawler ceramic heater uses high-strength, high thermal radiation performance lead oxide ceramic elements as insulation material, with nickel-chromium wire cable as the heating element. The assembled heater can be rectangular or triangular. The nickel-chromium wire cable and lead wires are welded using new technology, and all welded joints are embedded inside the ceramic elements for reliable insulation. The ceramic heater, when paired with control equipment, forms a complete heat treatment system. They are connected using special connectors, and extension wires can be configured based on the distance between the workpiece and control equipment. The length and dimensions can be flexibly changed during manufacturing. The crawler ceramic heater should be selected according to the geometric shape, wall thickness, and heat treatment process of the workpiece.
