Mica heating plate has many physical and chemical properties
Mica is a rock-forming mineral, generally appearing as pseudo-hexagonal or rhombic plate, sheet, or columnar crystals. Its color varies with changes in chemical composition, primarily deepening with increased Fe content. The characteristics of mica are insulation, high-temperature resistance, luster, stable physical and chemical properties, excellent thermal insulation, elasticity, and toughness, as well as the ability to be peeled into elastic transparent thin sheets.
Mica materials have many physical and chemical properties, such as good high-temperature resistance, thermal insulation, toughness, etc. Therefore, its processed product, mica board, is often used as insulating material for electrical equipment. Mica boards made from mica are not only used in electrical insulation but also widely used in chemical industries such as building materials, plastics, and rubber.
The main component of mica board is mica. Under normal circumstances, the mica content in mica board reaches about 90%, with the remaining 10% typically being adhesives such as glue. Our rigid mica board can withstand temperatures of 500 degrees Celsius under long-term normal working conditions and can withstand high temperatures of 850 degrees Celsius in the short term. Additionally, our phlogopite mica can work in environments averaging 1000 degrees Celsius, and what makes it more popular is its excellent puncture resistance, making it a standout among products.
Thermal insulation materials generally refer to materials with a thermal conductivity coefficient less than or equal to 0.2. Thermal insulation materials are developing rapidly. In industry and construction, adopting good insulation technologies and materials can often achieve twice the result with half the effort. When our company's insulation materials are used in buildings, every ton of mineral wool insulation products used can save one ton of petroleum per year, conserving resources and reducing expenses.

1. HP-5 rigid muscovite mica board, this product is silver-white, temperature resistance grade: withstands 500 ℃ under continuous use conditions, and 850 ℃ under intermittent use conditions.
2. HP-8 rigid phlogopite mica board, this product is golden, temperature resistance grade: withstands 850 ℃ under continuous use conditions, and 1050 ℃ under intermittent use conditions.
3. Excellent high-temperature insulation performance, with a maximum temperature resistance of up to 1000 ℃, offering good cost-effectiveness among high-temperature insulation materials.
Mica board market has not been impacted much. Basically, our technology is not much different from foreign technology, and we have many mica board manufacturers, ensuring sufficient supply in the domestic market. However, due to technological gaps, the Chinese mica board market is still somewhat unstable.
The emergence of mica board has greatly promoted the development of the electric heating appliance industry. When mica boards are used, they need to be cut or stamped into various shapes, and during the cutting and stamping process, a large amount of scrap material is generated. If these scraps are not handled properly, they can cause significant environmental problems. Generally, the longest mica board produced by mica board manufacturers is only 2400mm. However, this cannot solve the length requirements of some large steel furnace customers for mica boards. To address this, our factory has invited press manufacturing enterprises to develop large-tonnage, ultra-long mica board presses. The mica boards produced can now reach a maximum length of 3600mm, solving the special length requirements of some customers. Phlogopite mica boards can also be pressed into sheets of 1200*3600.
