Working Principle of Melt-blown Fabric Air Heater

1. The melt-blown process requires a large amount of hot air. A high-pressure Roots blower sends cold air to the melt-blown fabric air heater/hot air blower electric heater/duct heater for heating. Through SCR and PID precise calculation, hot air is stably output at the set temperature to the melt-blown die head assembly. The melt-blown nonwoven fabric heater|hot air blower electric heater|melt-blown fabric air heater must also resist the oxidation effect of high-temperature air, so stainless steel is preferably used as the material.

2. The speed (pressure) of hot air directly affects the fineness of melt-blown fibers. In production, the pressure of the airflow is used to represent the speed of the airflow; the higher the pressure, the higher the speed. Hot air speed↑: fiber diameter↓; single fiber relative strength↑; bonding effect between fibers in the web↑, nonwoven fabric strength↑, so it is necessary to equip an air heater with constant temperature, constant wind speed, and resistance to high pressure to ensure the quality of melt-blown fabric products.

Components of Melt-blown Fabric Air Heater

1. The melt-blown nonwoven fabric heater is made into a skid-mounted unit consisting of an air heater, a matching temperature control cabinet, and a Roots blower. Before leaving the factory, all cables and pipelines are connected to ensure constant outlet temperature and stable wind speed. At the customer site, the hot air blower electric heater only needs to connect an external air duct to the heater outlet and the customer's spinning box hot air inlet. Turn on the Roots blower, the heater, set the temperature, and the heater starts working. Made as an integrated air heater, it saves customers trouble and allows them to quickly start production.
