Electric heating tube usage, maintenance, precautions, and working principle:
1. In the dimensional drawing, dimension "B" must be fully immersed in oil to avoid burning out the element. The heated oil should be non-corrosive.
2. The working liquid level of SRY3 type must be below the fasteners and above the dimension line "B".
3. When melting solid oils such as asphalt and paraffin, reduce the voltage during use, and then raise to the rated voltage after melting. This prevents concentrated electricity from reducing the element's service life.
4. If carbon deposits are found on the tube surface, they must be completely removed before reuse to avoid reducing efficiency or even burning out the element.
5. The element should be stored in a dry place. If the insulation resistance drops below 1 megohm due to long-term storage, it can be dried in an oven at about 200°C for several hours (or pass low voltage through the element for several hours) to restore the insulation resistance.
Working principle of electric heating tubes
High-temperature resistance wires are evenly distributed inside a seamless stainless steel tube that is resistant to high temperatures. The gaps are densely filled with crystalline magnesium oxide powder, which has good thermal conductivity and insulation properties. This structure is not only advanced with high thermal efficiency but also provides uniform heating. When current passes through the high-temperature resistance wires, the generated heat diffuses through the crystalline magnesium oxide powder to the metal tube surface, and then transfers to the heated object or air, achieving the purpose of heating.
