Flange electric heating tube (also known as insertion-type electric heater): It uses U-shaped tubular electric heating elements, designed according to the specifications for heating different media, assembled on the flange cover according to power configuration requirements, and inserted into the material to be heated. When the heating element works, the large amount of heat generated is conducted to the heated medium, raising the medium temperature to meet the required process requirements. When the medium temperature reaches the set value required by the process, the control system adjusts the output power of the electric heater based on the temperature sensor signal through PID calculation, achieving temperature control for the resistive load of the heating element. This makes the medium temperature uniform and meets the required standards; when the heating element overheats or the liquid level is low, the interlock protection device of the heating element immediately cuts off the heating power to avoid burning out the heating element, extending its service life.

5. Precautions for Flange Electric Heating Tubes
1. The element is allowed to work under the following conditions:
(1) The relative humidity of air is not high.
(2) The working voltage is not greater than the rated value, and the shell should be effectively grounded.
2. When the heating medium is liquid, the effective length (H1 or H2) of the element must be fully immersed in the liquid. The heating part of the element should have a certain distance from the container wall.
3. Elements used for heating liquids must not be used to heat gases or solids.
4. If scale or carbon deposits are found on the surface of the tube of an element used for heating liquids, it should be cleaned before use.
5. When melting light metals or heating nitrates, alkalis, asphalt, paraffin, etc., when they are solid, the voltage should be reduced for startup, and only after the solid heating medium is completely melted can the voltage be raised to the rated value.
6. Safety measures should be considered when heating nitrates.
7. The wiring part of the element should be placed in the insulation layer. The outlet end must be kept dry and clean outside the heating chamber to avoid flashover or short circuit. Do not use excessive force when wiring.
