The CP300 model uses glass ceramic material as the tabletop, and the heating unit is wrapped with PTFE, giving the heater excellent chemical resistance overall, especially effective against corrosion caused by acid mist. It also avoids the possibility of sample contamination.
Glass ceramic tabletop and PTFE surface can be cleaned with stronger cleaning agents, and even with higher concentrations of nitric acid if necessary.
This heating plate has a heating area of 20cm2, suitable not only for larger flasks but also for several small flasks.
The control of this heating plate uses a separate control unit, connected by PTFE-coated wires, allowing the heating plate to be placed in a fume hood while the control unit is placed outside the fume hood. Additionally, this electric heating plate is equipped with a temperature warning device. When the temperature of the heating plate surface is above 50°C, whether off or on, as long as the main power is connected, the "HOT" warning light flashes to indicate the presence of high temperature.
