The model JGF-380 tubular electric heater complies with the JB/T 2379 standard. The metal tube is made of 10# steel, with a maximum working temperature of 100°C and a working pressure of <0.6MPa. The oil tank opening size is ≥Ø65. Compared with ordinary immersion electric heating tubes, this model's tube diameter is suitable for low-pressure conditions, and its surface load density is relatively low. When heating solid oils such as asphalt and paraffin, the voltage can be reduced first for operation, and after the medium melts, it can be raised to the rated voltage, avoiding local overheating that could cause medium carbonization or component damage. After equipment acceptance, the supplier assigns professional engineers to the site to provide unlimited maintenance and operation training, and organizes two centralized training sessions each year.
Unlike conventional 380V direct connection schemes, the JGF-380 model supports a voltage-regulated operation mode. During design and selection, the voltage can be switched according to the state of the heated medium: low voltage preheating is used in the solid stage, and the rated voltage is restored in the liquid stage. This method is suitable for scenarios of melting solid oils such as asphalt and paraffin, and can reduce the risk of coking on the tube wall. Compared with cast aluminum heating plates or ceramic heating rings of the same power level, the tubular structure facilitates installation through openings on the side wall of the oil tank, and individual tubes can be replaced during maintenance without removing the entire insulation layer.
The oil tank opening ≥Ø65 is the lower installation limit. It is recommended to reserve operating space according to the actual pipe layout spacing. The 10# steel tube body is suitable for non-corrosive oil media, and the working pressure should be controlled within 0.6MPa. If the medium is paraffin or asphalt, it should be confirmed that the volume change in the solid stage will not squeeze the tube bundle. Compared with sheathed electric heating tubes, the JGF-380 has no additional metal sheath, and its thermal response is relatively direct, but attention should be paid to surface cleanliness to avoid carbon buildup affecting heat transfer.
