On-site bolt heating rods often experience temperature runaway after wiring, mostly due to the lack of a temperature control loop. The LDR-18 bolt electric heating rod does not have a built-in temperature control element and needs to be linked with a temperature control box or PLC, using thermocouple feedback to regulate on/off and achieve constant temperature heating.
The heating rod uses a stainless steel sheath, with thread specifications of 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, or 1 inch, adapting to different installation hole positions. Rated voltage is 220V or 380V, power is customizable from 1 to 5kW, and surface load is controlled within a reasonable range to avoid dry burning. Insulation resistance ≥20MΩ, withstand voltage 1500V/1min without breakdown.
Design and selection personnel need to calculate power density based on bolt specifications, heating temperature, and heating time. During installation, screw the threaded end into the base to ensure the heating zone is fully immersed in the medium. Connect the lead wires of the heating rod to the temperature control box, and use K-type or J-type thermocouples to monitor temperature, cutting off power when overheated.
Used for steam turbine bolt removal, mold heating, heat transfer oil furnace, and water tank heating, etc. In vibrating environments, a fixing bracket must be installed to prevent thread loosening. After long-term use, insulation resistance should be regularly tested; if it is below 5MΩ, replacement is required.
