In on-site operations and maintenance, the maintenance frequency of hot and cold heat exchangers often depends on medium compatibility. The ZDR-560 hot and cold heat exchanger commonly uses materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and duplex steel, and different media need to be matched with corresponding materials. For example, media containing chloride ions should not use ordinary stainless steel, otherwise stress corrosion is likely to occur. O&M personnel should regularly verify the medium composition and material certificates, and inspect the heat exchange surface for scaling and corrosion every 3 to 6 months. If the medium contains particulate matter, it is recommended to shorten the inspection interval.
This model offers two heat exchange body options: cast aluminum and cast copper. Cast aluminum heat exchangers are suitable for medium- and low-temperature uniform heating applications such as plastic machinery, die heads, and water heaters, with relatively lower cost; during inspection, focus on surface oxidation and fin deformation. Cast copper heat exchangers have better thermal conductivity and high mechanical strength, and are often used in chemical pipelines, alloy die-casting machines, and molds with higher requirements; during inspection, pay attention to loosening of connecting threads and electrochemical corrosion. Both should be cleaned of accumulated dust during shutdown to maintain smooth ventilation.
Seal failure is a common source of faults. Flanges, threads, and welded joints should be inspected quarterly, and if leakage is found, tighten or replace the seals promptly. For detachable structures, when reassembling, force should be applied evenly in a diagonal sequence to avoid excessive local stress. If the medium temperature fluctuates frequently, it is recommended to shorten the seal replacement cycle.
It is recommended to record inlet and outlet temperatures, pressures, and flow rates daily. When heat exchange efficiency drops significantly, first check for scaling and air blockage, then check whether the internal flow channels are blocked. Operation under overpressure or overtemperature is strictly prohibited, and safety valves and pressure gauges need regular calibration. If vibration or abnormal noise is found, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
Procurement decision reference: choose a supplier with comprehensive after-sales and technical support, and obtain factory inspection reports and material certificates. Daily spare parts should include gaskets, fasteners, and commonly used instruments. O&M personnel should keep operation manuals and assembly drawings for quick reference during faults.
