When purchasing electric heating coils, improper wiring and dry burning are common causes of failure. The DJR-380 electric heating coil has been structurally designed to address these two points. The wiring section is placed outside the heating layer and insulation layer to avoid high temperatures accelerating wire aging, and the outer shell must be effectively grounded to reduce the risk of electric leakage. The operating voltage must not exceed 10% of the rated value, i.e., under a 380V system it should be controlled within 418V; excessive voltage will shorten the service life of the resistance wire. During installation, ensure that the heating coil tightly wraps the barrel to avoid uneven heat dissipation caused by air gaps.
It is strictly prohibited to keep the heating coil turned on for a long time without material. Dry burning will cause the internal temperature to rise sharply, burning out the resistance wire and even causing accidents. The DJR-380 electric heating coil is suitable for barrel heating of extruders, injection molding machines, and other equipment. It converts electrical energy into heat energy, causing plastic pellets to melt evenly during the extrusion process. It is recommended to use it with a temperature control system, set over-temperature protection, and regularly check the fit between the heating coil and the barrel.
This model has a rated voltage of 380V, power can be customized on demand, and the maximum operating temperature is about 400°C. Common materials are ceramic or stainless steel, and shapes include coil type, plate type, etc. It is suitable for cylindrical barrels requiring external heating in plastic machinery, chemical equipment, etc. When purchasing, please confirm the barrel diameter, heating length, and lead wire length to match the installation space.
