The BXS-85 brazed stainless steel heat exchanger is suitable for heat exchange applications with a temperature range of -40°C to 200°C and a design pressure of 3.0 MPa, and can be used in refrigeration, heating, and general industrial heat exchange circuits. The equipment is formed from stainless steel plates by vacuum brazing, featuring a compact structure that provides heat exchange area within limited installation space. Design and selection personnel can evaluate suitability based on medium characteristics, pressure, and temperature parameters.
In refrigeration systems, this heat exchanger can be used as a condenser or evaporator. A Y-type strainer is recommended on the water side to prevent impurities from entering the plate channels; the oil-side filter accuracy should be no less than 100 μm to avoid particulate deposition affecting heat exchange efficiency. In heating circuits, attention should be paid to the impact of medium temperature and pressure fluctuations on brazed joints, and temperature and pressure monitoring points are recommended in the circuit.
During installation, it is recommended to reserve at least 300 mm of maintenance space to facilitate observation of operating status and cleaning and maintenance. For media containing particles or prone to scaling, the inspection interval should be shortened, and chemical cleaning may be used when necessary to restore heat exchange capacity. The heat exchanger should not be operated under conditions exceeding the design pressure and temperature, and the system should be equipped with safety relief devices.
During selection, confirm the medium type, flow rate, inlet and outlet temperatures, and allowable pressure drop, and verify suitability against the design pressure of 3.0 MPa and temperature range of -40°C to 200°C. For corrosive media, the compatibility of stainless steel materials should be evaluated; for high-viscosity oils, it is necessary to calculate whether the pressure drop meets system requirements. Specific selection can be verified based on operating parameters and manufacturer technical data.
