The SLK-45 industrial electric heating furnace is mainly used for material heating and heat treatment in the fields of metallurgy, chemicals, ceramics, and semiconductors. The following key points are listed from the perspective of design and selection for reference by engineering and technical personnel.
This model has a rated power of 45kW, an input voltage of 380V three-phase AC, and the heating elements use a resistance wire structure, which can be switched in groups according to process temperature requirements. During design and selection, a comprehensive calculation must be made based on the material heat absorption power, furnace body heat dissipation, and heating rate, with a power margin of 10%~15% reserved.
The effective furnace chamber dimensions are 600mm×400mm×350mm (length×width×height), supporting trolley-type or box-type loading. For different workpiece shapes, the rack height and spacing can be adjusted to ensure uniform hot air circulation. During selection, the maximum loading weight and workpiece material should be clearly defined to avoid overload affecting temperature control accuracy.
If used in Class IIC gas environments such as hydrogen and acetylene, the furnace body explosion-proof rating must reach Ex d IIC T6 Gb, achieved by a flameproof enclosure and terminal chamber structure. During design and selection, a distinction must be made between the explosion-proof markings of electric heating furnaces and organic heat carrier furnaces; the former is determined by the furnace body structure, while the latter focuses on the explosion-proof treatment of the heat transfer oil circulation system.
The commonly used temperature control range of this equipment is room temperature to 650°C, using PID intelligent regulation and K-type thermocouple feedback, with temperature control accuracy up to ±3°C. For processes with higher temperature uniformity requirements, multi-zone heating and circulation fans can be optionally equipped. During selection, the upper limit of working temperature and whether a programmed heating curve is needed must be confirmed.
The SLK-45 model is suitable for processes such as quenching of small metal parts, drying of chemical raw materials, binder removal from ceramic green bodies, and pre-packaging baking in semiconductor packaging. In laboratories, it can also be used as a heat source equipment for material sintering or heat treatment.
