During on-site commissioning, such situations are commonly seen: the same electric heating furnace heats up normally in winter, but frequently triggers over-temperature alarms in summer; or the temperature control is stable at low load, but the furnace chamber temperature difference noticeably widens at full load. The problem often lies not in operation, but in insufficient matching of voltage fluctuation, power margin, and furnace lining thermal inertia during the selection stage. The JXF-380 industrial electric heating furnace is designed with parameterization for such working conditions, making it easy for design and selection personnel to calculate according to actual load.
The equipment has a rated voltage of 380V and a power of 30kW. It adopts resistance heating, where current passes through heating elements to generate heat. During selection, it is necessary to confirm the workshop transformer capacity and line cross-section. The full-load current of 30kW is about 45A. If it shares a circuit with multiple devices, it is recommended to provide separate power distribution and reserve 10% to 15% power margin to avoid prolonged heating time when the grid voltage is low. The design pressure is 0.6MPa, suitable for furnace structures with slight positive pressure or protective atmosphere. Pressure-bearing components are strength-calculated according to relevant specifications.
The overall working temperature can reach 300°C, belonging to the medium-low temperature heat treatment range, commonly used for tempering, preheating, and pre-brazing treatment of metal parts. In this temperature range, alloy heating elements with good oxidation resistance can be selected, and the surface load is set relatively low, which helps extend continuous operation time. If the process requires a higher temperature, the heating elements and furnace lining materials need to be replaced. The process curve should be stated in advance during selection to avoid ordering based on a single temperature point. The temperature range depends on the heating element and furnace lining configuration and can be selected in stages from room temperature to higher temperatures.
The equipment can be used for annealing, normalizing, quenching, tempering, carburizing, nitriding, and other heat treatments of metal parts in the metallurgical and mechanical fields, and is also suitable for brazing, sintering, and auxiliary heating for melting. Design and selection personnel can focus on checking: the maximum process temperature and holding time, loading amount and workpiece placement method, furnace chamber atmosphere requirements, power supply capacity, and grounding conditions. After confirming the above parameters, then determine the furnace chamber size and the number of temperature control zones, which can reduce repeated adjustments during on-site commissioning.
