When selecting a box-type industrial electric heating furnace, design and selection personnel need to provide a matching solution based on dimensions such as furnace chamber size, temperature uniformity, and explosion-proof requirements.
Determine the effective furnace chamber area based on the maximum outer dimensions of the workpieces and the batch size. The RX-75-9 has an effective furnace chamber size of 900×600×500 mm, a rated temperature of 950°C, and an empty furnace heating time of about 2 hours. During design, clearance between the workpieces and the furnace wall should be reserved to avoid local overheating.
If used in Class IIC gas environments such as hydrogen or acetylene, the furnace body explosion-proof marking should be no lower than Ex d IIC T6 Gb. During selection, the coverage of the explosion-proof certificate must be checked to confirm that the furnace chamber sealing structure and the electrical control section are consistent.
Conventional temperature control uses K-type thermocouples with PID regulation. For scenarios with higher temperature uniformity requirements, multiple thermocouples can be arranged with zoned temperature control. The sealing condition of the furnace chamber affects temperature fluctuation, and it is recommended to regularly inspect the furnace door sealing strip.
It is suitable for small-batch or medium-batch heat treatment in industries such as machinery manufacturing, automotive parts, hardware tools, and molds, and can also be used for heat treatment tests in laboratories and research institutions. During maintenance, focus on checking thermocouple wiring, PID parameters, and furnace chamber sealing to maintain temperature stability.
