Under standard configuration, the RX3-25-12 industrial electric heating furnace can control the temperature uniformity within the effective heating zone of the furnace chamber to within ±5°C. If the process has higher requirements for temperature uniformity, this can be specified at the time of ordering; by adjusting the PID control parameters and optimizing the thermocouple placement positions, the uniformity precision can be improved to within ±2°C. The equipment uses resistance wire, resistance strip, or silicon carbide rods as heating elements, which can be selected according to the operating temperature and atmosphere conditions.
During operation, if the measured current continuously remains below 85% of the rated value, or if the surface temperature of the heating elements rises abnormally while the temperature of the workpieces in the furnace does not increase, it is recommended to check the oxidation degree of the resistance wire and the condition of the insulation layer. When severe oxidation of the resistance wire causes a reduction in cross-section and the resistance value changes beyond the allowable range, elements of the same specification should be replaced. Regular inspection of the wiring terminals and insulation resistance helps to detect hidden dangers in advance.
The equipment can be configured as a heat treatment furnace, quenching furnace, annealing furnace, or tempering furnace according to the intended use in metal processing processes. Quenching furnaces require attention to the heating rate and transfer time after discharge; annealing furnaces focus on temperature stability during the holding stage; tempering furnaces require control precision in the lower temperature range. Users should select the appropriate furnace chamber size, power, and temperature control method based on the workpiece material, loading capacity, and process curve.
It is recommended to inspect the integrity of the furnace lining refractory material once a quarter and clean the oxide scale and debris inside the furnace chamber. Thermocouples should be calibrated regularly to ensure accurate temperature measurement. For equipment operating at high temperatures for long periods, attention should be paid to the sealing and insulation conditions at the lead-out rods of the heating elements. The cooling fan and contactor contacts in the control cabinet should also be included in the inspection scope to avoid abnormal temperature control caused by aging electrical components.
