1. The working voltage must not exceed 1.1 times its rated value. The shell should be effectively grounded.
2. Working environment: humidity not greater than 95%, no explosive or corrosive gases.
3. The dimension "C" in the figure must be fully immersed in oil (and checked regularly) to avoid burning out. The heated oil should be non-corrosive.
4. When melting solid oils such as asphalt and paraffin, the voltage should be reduced, and then increased to the rated voltage after melting.
5. If carbon deposits are found on the tube surface, they must be removed before use to avoid reducing efficiency or even burning out.
6. Keep the outlet end dry and clean to avoid surface flashing or short circuits.
7. The element should be stored in a dry and ventilated place. If stored for a long time and its insulation resistance to ground drops below 1MΩ, it can be dried in an oven at about 200°C for several hours to restore.

The heating capacity is proportional to the square of the voltage and the square of the current.
When the voltage is reduced to 1/2 of the original, the heating capacity becomes 1/4.
When the current is reduced to 1/2 of the original, the heating capacity also becomes 1/4.
