Bolt electric heating rods are used for heating during the disassembly and assembly of steam turbine cylinder bolts. During selection, a common question is: will contact heating damage the bolt threads?
This product uses contact heating. After the heating rod is inserted into the center hole of the bolt, power is supplied to raise the temperature, and heat is conducted through the contact between the rod surface and the inner wall of the bolt. During selection, it is necessary to confirm the fit clearance between the bolt center hole diameter and the heating rod outer diameter. If the clearance is too large, heat transfer efficiency will be reduced; if it is too small, insertion and removal will be difficult. The DJR-24 type is suitable for common specifications of cylinder bolts, and specific dimensions can be customized according to bolt drawings.
The rated voltage is 220V, the power range is 1~3kW, and the surface load is controlled within a reasonable range. Design and selection personnel should calculate the heating time and match it with the temperature control device to avoid long-term overheating operation. The rod body is made of stainless steel, with an insulation resistance of not less than 20MΩ, and it withstands 1500V/1min without breakdown in the cold state.
It is mainly used for heating and disassembly/assembly of bolts in steam turbine maintenance in the power and petrochemical industries, and can also be used for liquid heating in industrial water tanks, steam generators, and other occasions. Compared with induction bolt heaters, contact heating is suitable for working conditions with specific requirements for heating position and speed.
Confirm the bolt specifications, center hole dimensions, and power supply conditions, and select the power level according to the heating time requirements. During installation, ensure uniform contact between the heating rod and the hole wall to avoid local overheating.
