The ZDL-500 cast aluminum electric heating plate uses cast aluminum as its shell, with tubular heating elements embedded inside and formed by die casting. Compared with cast copper electric heating plates of the same specification, this product has a maximum operating temperature of about 400°C and is suitable for medium- and low-temperature uniform heating scenarios; its surface load is about 3.0W/cm², meeting the heating needs of equipment such as plastic machinery, cable machinery, and water heaters, while procurement and maintenance costs remain relatively controllable.
In on-site operation and maintenance, cast copper electric heating plates can withstand high temperatures above 600°C, but they cost more and have stricter requirements for installation flatness. The ZDL-500 cast aluminum electric heating plate provides similar heat conduction uniformity below 400°C, and its terminal and sealing structure make routine disassembly and inspection more convenient. If the equipment operates above 450°C for a long time, it is recommended to evaluate cast copper material; for conventional medium- and low-temperature heating, the cast aluminum solution can reduce the variety of spare parts inventory.
The installation surface must be flat and clean. When tightening bolts, tighten them in diagonal order in several passes to avoid uneven stress on the aluminum shell. Before operation, measure the cold insulation resistance, and keep the terminals dry. It is recommended to check the surface quarterly for cracks or warping, and clean accumulated dust to maintain heat dissipation efficiency.
