In the barrel heating process of plastic machinery and cable machinery, the electric heating plate must fit tightly against the outer diameter of the barrel to ensure heat conduction efficiency. The JRQ-900 cast aluminum electric heating plate uses a casting process to integrate the heating element with the aluminum shell, and the inner wall can be machined into an arc or flat surface matching the barrel, reducing thermal resistance caused by air gaps. During design and selection, the inner diameter, length, and lead wire position of the heating plate must be determined according to the barrel diameter, required heating power density, and installation space.
Chemical reactors usually need to withstand certain pressure and corrosive media, and electric heating plates can be made into flat or arc-shaped plates to fit the outer wall of the reactor. Oil pipeline heat tracing requires the heating plate to have a certain degree of flexibility or segmented splicing capability to adapt to the direction of long-distance pipelines. Under such working conditions, it is recommended to choose models with anti-corrosion coatings or higher protection ratings, and to select the contact area according to the pipeline diameter. The JRQ-900 cast aluminum electric heating plate supports customized external dimensions, the operating voltage can be set to 220V or 380V, and the power is calculated according to the insulation layer thickness and temperature difference requirements.
Ordinary temperature-adjusting electric heating plates are suitable for occasions with low requirements for temperature fluctuations, such as general preheating or insulation. The PID intelligent temperature control type can control temperature accuracy within ±1–2°C, making it suitable for precision experiments or temperature-sensitive alloy die-casting molds. When selecting a model, the maximum operating temperature must be clarified—the long-term operating temperature of the JRQ-900 cast aluminum electric heating plate is recommended not to exceed 400°C, with a short-term maximum of 450°C. If the process requires a higher temperature, ceramic or cast copper heating plates can be considered.
