Bolt electric heating rod is an industrial electric heater specially used for hot installation and removal of bolts in large equipment such as steam turbine pressure vessels.
It heats the bolt to cause thermal expansion and elongation, thereby allowing easy tightening or loosening of the nut. After the bolt cools and contracts, the required tightening force is achieved or disassembly is completed. This method is called the "bolt hot tightening method".
